L’IPHC s’associe au sein d’un Laboratoire Commun avec le Centre de ressources technologiques Aerial. La cérémonie de lancement de ce Laboratoire Commun unique par la typologie des structures associées aura lieu le vendredi 25 novembre 2022 à 11h dans les locaux d’Aerial.

Flavor physics: connecting low- and high-energy searches
Speakers: Olcyr Sumensari (IJCLab) Precision measurements of low-energy flavor transitions provide stringent tests of the Standard Model (SM) dynamics. In this seminar, I will review the current status of $B$-meson searches and discuss the opportunities they offer to uncover possible New Physics interactions at the TeV scale. I will give particular emphasis to the theoretically clean decays $B o K^{(\ast)} u\bar{ u}$, which are now accessible at the Belle-II experiment. Using the Effective Field Theory approach, I will also explore the complementarity between these measurements and non-resonant searches performed at the (HL-)LHC. https://indico.in2p3.fr/event/38577/
