The pixel tracker is the innermost component of the silicon tracking system of the CMS experiment. It was refurbished with a complete replacement of the innermost layer of the barrel section during a Long Shutdown period of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). It was re-installed in the CMS experiment and has provided high-quality physics data during LHC Run 3, which began in 2022 and will end in 2026. The performance is evolving with radiation damage. This talk will summarize recent performance results and operational challenges.

Flavor physics: connecting low- and high-energy searches
Speakers: Olcyr Sumensari (IJCLab) Precision measurements of low-energy flavor transitions provide stringent tests of the Standard Model (SM) dynamics. In this seminar, I will review the current status of $B$-meson searches and discuss the opportunities they offer to uncover possible New Physics interactions at the TeV scale. I will give particular emphasis to the theoretically clean decays $B o K^{(\ast)} u\bar{ u}$, which are now accessible at the Belle-II experiment. Using the Effective Field Theory approach, I will also explore the complementarity between these measurements and non-resonant searches performed at the (HL-)LHC. https://indico.in2p3.fr/event/38577/
