The activity of the DNE group revolves around three major physics themes: exotic structures, spectroscopy and capture-fission dynamics in the region of heavy and superheavy nuclei, and fusion and nucleosynthesis reactions in massive stars . Different aspects are addressed in these themes and presented here.
Part of the DNE group is also involved in interdisciplinary activities, in particular the development of organometallic compounds intended for the production of isotopic beams and in the study of reactor physics (boiling deposits in PWRs, natural reactors of okay).
