Radiochimie

Le groupe de Radiochimie entreprend des recherches fondamentales et appliquées dans des domaines à forte demande sociétale. Les thèmes développés concernent en particulier l’aval du cycle électronucléaire. Le groupe est spécialisé dans la chimie des actinides (An) et des lanthanides (Ln) ; de leur spéciation en solution pour la recherche de nouveaux procédés d’extraction et de leur comportement dans l’environnement pour les problèmes liés à leur stockage. Les activités développées sur l’interaction des rayonnements ionisants avec la matière, dans un contexte de santé, trouvent des applications directes en dosimétrie (radioprotection, radiothérapie) ou encore en imagerie médicale.
